Pedro A. Palicio, MBA, Ph.D.

Dr. Palicio graduated from prestigious Columbia University, in New York City, with Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Engineering and Applied Mathematics, and with an MBA with emphasis in Strategic and Financial Planning, obtaining all his degrees with the highest honors.

Upon graduation, Dr. Palicio held executive positions of increasing responsibilities in the areas of Strategic and Financial Planning with major international corporations including IBM in Wall Street and in the headquarters of Ford and Ryder. Concurrently with the above positions, he served as Adjunct Professor in the faculties of Columbia University, in the City of New York, the University of Maryland and Barry University.

In 1994, Dr. Palicio decided to apply his knowledge of Financial Planning and entered the financial services industry. From 1994 to 2005, he was one of the highest producers at the national and international levels, and was Regional Vice President for two of the major financial institutions of the world, working in their offices in the city of Miami.

In 2005, Dr. Palicio established his own company, Universal Wealth Managers LLC in the city of Coral Gables. The purpose of the International Division is to advise its clients in Latin America and the Caribbean. The mission of the firm is to provide insurance brokerage and financial advisory services of the highest quality based on its basic tenets of experience, trust, integrity and objectivity.

Dr. Palicio is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
